Hand-operated hydraulic pump has a hydraulic connecting line (17) arranged between the pump handle (3) and a hole (8) in a housing (2). Hydraulic elements, such as a reservoir (15), switching valve (12), pump plunger (5) and/or safety valve (14), are arranged in the pump handle. Preferred Features: The connecting lines are structured as straight holes within the housing and/or the pump handle. The pump plunger is arranged in the handle and is supported on an abutment provided as a roller (6) on the housing. The reservoir is formed as a separate container which is screwed to the housing or handle.
