PURPOSE: A titanium article with a patch or attachment of a platinum group metal(PGM) or alloy thereof is provided to have a higher corrosion resistance than a titan article without a patch or attachment of PGM or its alloy. CONSTITUTION: The titanium article having improved corrosion resistance comprises a titanium substrate to which an attachment of PGM or alloy thereof is attached in a ratio of 1% or less(excluding 0) of the surface area. Thereby, the titanium article has an improved corrosion resistance comparing to a titanium article without an attachment. The attachment has a ratio of the attachment surface area : the article surface area of 10:10000 or 50 : 10000.
