摘要 It is intended to provide a method of detecting the data of a target nucleic acid comprising bringing the target nucleic acid into contact with a probe having a sequence being complementary to at leas a part of the target nucleic acid sequence to form a hybrid of the target nucleic acid with the probe, and measuring a signal generated in an amount depending on the amount of the hybrid to thereby detect the data of the target nucleic acid, wherein the signal data are kinetically obtained. It is also intended to provide a method of detecting the data of a target nucleic acid comprising bringing the target nucleic acid into contact with a completely matching probe being completely complementary to at leas a part of the target nucleic acid sequence and one or more incompletely matching probes having a variation in at least a part of the completely matching probe to form hybrids of the target nucleic acid with the completely matching probe and with the incompletely matching probe, and detecting the data of the target nucleic acid based on the difference in the binding strength between the hybrids, characterized in that the signal data are kinetically obtained while continuously or stepwise altering the conditions of measuring or detecting the signals generated from the hybrids.
