TUB ASSEMBLY OF DRUM WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A tub assembly of a drum washing machine is provided to minimize outward and backward projection of a tub body by a tub back and a bearing housing, and to reduce the size and the weight of the tub by removing the bracket for fixing the bearing housing. CONSTITUTION: A tub assembly is composed of a cylindrical tub body(202); an annular tub cover(201) combined with the front of the tub body; an annular tub back(203) combined with the rear part of the tub body; and a motor assembly installed in the center of the tub back. An outer wall(203a) is formed perpendicularly in the outer circumference of the tub back, and the outside of the outer wall is contacted to the rear inside of the tub body. A flat part of the tub back is placed inside the tub body, and the motor assembly is formed in a groove by the flat part of the tub back and a barrier. The outer diameter of the tub back is equal to the inner diameter of the tub body to easily insert the tub back to the tub body.
