METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of a reciprocating compressor is provided to vary refrigerating power by controlling an operation time of a reciprocating compressor by easily operating and stopping the reciprocating compressor. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether a refrigerating cycle is being operated. If so, signals for turning on and off a compressor are repeatedly output to maintain a temperature of a compartment sensed by a temperature sensor at a set temperature. If the refrigerating cycle is stopped, the compressor is turned off. It is judged whether an on-time of the compressor is longer than an off-time of the compressor. If so, an on/off duty ratio of the compressor is increased. If not, on/off duty ratio of the compressor is decreased.
