The end stop is formed as a locally fixed but freely rotatable stop roller (5) which can be divided into three individual rollers which each extend only over a part of the width of the transport belt. At least one safety stop (6) can be fitted behind the stop roller. The height of the safety stop vertically exceeds the height of the stop roller.
