PURPOSE: A Chinese-Korean dictionary is provided to find the meaning and/or synonym of a Chinese letter in Korean more easily and conveniently by categorizing the meaning in order of Korean alphabet. CONSTITUTION: Each page of the Chinese-Korean dictionary is a Korean section(10) that provides the meaning(s) of a Chinese character in Korean, according to the order of Korean alphabet. On the right side of the Korean section(10) is a plurality of Chinese sections(20). The Chinese is categorized by the shape, state, nature (or characteristic), and sound. The `four tones' of classical Chinese are indicated at one side of the Chinese section(20). Also, the Chinese section(20) provides correct pronunciation of a Chinese word in Roman letters. |
