PNEUMATIC TIRE HAVING IMPROVED WET TRACTION

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire in improved wet traction is provided to have high rigidity in a central block maintaining treading ratio by improving a sectional shape of a transverse groove of the central block. CONSTITUTION: A transverse groove(14) is inclined in about fifty to sixty degrees from a surface of a central rib(16) near a central groove to a cuff(12) of a central block(13). A depth is deeper after passing the cuff toward a side groove portion. As a whole, a tapered shape is formed. Therefore, rigidity of the block increases by connecting rigidity of close blocks and drainage of the transverse groove is not affected at all.
