A compressed air system has a motor (5) and compressor pump (3) mounted on top of a compressed air tank (2). The motor shaft extends out of both ends of the motor, with one shaft (4) driving the air compressor and the other shaft (6) driving a high pressure water pump, e.g. for a spray cleaning lance (9, 10). A variation in the design has the motor and water pump removable from the air compressor via clip fastenings.
