Load fluctuation generated when a seam O passes by each head will not affect the image formation as follows. When the entire length K of a recording intermediate belt is divided by n (n is an integer) into identical intervals of length P and the both ends of the belt main body are connected so as to obtain an endless recording intermediate belt having the seam position as the start point 0, a dye layer transfer head and each recording head are arranged at the identical intervals and form an image at a portion excluding the starting point O and 1 x P, 2 x P, ..., (n - 1) x P from the starting point O. Thus, it is possible to prevent deterioration of an image caused by a stripe in the image formed by an image formation device.
