PURPOSE: A red pepper sorting machine is provided to accurately sort a large quantity of red peppers by size and prevent the stems of red peppers from being caught in a space between brush hairs. CONSTITUTION: The machine is arranged to sort red peppers by size in a manner that brush rollers(2) are rotatably disposed at a frame(1) so that the red peppers pass through the gap between the brush rollers(2). Horizontal tables(12) are horizontally disposed at both central upper parts of the frame(1). A deceleration motor(17) is disposed at the central upper part of the frame(1). A chute placement board(19) with a pair of long holes(18) formed at an interval is disposed under both of the horizontal tables(12). The upper parts of pairs of chutes(21) facing each other are disposed inclined in a mountain shape. A conveyer(23) is disposed in the traveling direction of red peppers and in a perpendicular direction under each of the pairs of chutes(21). |
