METHOD FOR DECIDING STANDARD B-LEVEL WHEN DATA IS RECORDED TO CD-R DISC

PURPOSE: A method for deciding a standard B-level when data is recorded to a CD-R(CD-Recordable) disc is provided to decide a proper standard B-level matched with recording speeds different with each other for a high speed CD-R. CONSTITUTION: The first B-level for the first PCA(Power Calibration Area) of the disc is generated(210). The second B-level for the second PCA is generated(220). A relation between the B-level and the recording speed is found out from the first B-level and the recording speed matched with the first B-level, and the second B-level and the recording speed matched with the second B-level(230). Responding to the relation between the first and the second B-level, and the B-level and the recording speed, the standard B-level matched with the recording speed is decided(240).
