PURPOSE: A solid-state image pickup device equipped with a CMOS sensor is provided to acquire the same clock pulse amplitude by installing a driver circuit only at one side of a cell pickup part though installing driver circuits at both sides of the cell part. CONSTITUTION: An image pickup part(2) is formed with a two-dimensional array having unit cells including photoelectric elements. A selecting line(15) is formed with polysilicon to select the unit cell from the same row of the image pickup part. A reading line(14) is formed with polysilicon to read charges accumulated within the photoelectric elements of the unit cells from the same row of the image pickup part. A signal line(6) is used for transmitting pixel signals of the unit cells from the same row of the image pickup part. A reset line(13) is formed with polysilicon to discharge unnecessary charges of the unit cells from the same row of the image pickup part. A driver circuit is arranged at one side of the image pickup part to supply driving signals to the reading line, the selecting line, and the reset line. A reading supplement line(19) has a resistance ratio lower than the reading line and is connected to the reading line.
