The sheet deliverer (1) for a paper processing machine has non-stop device activated for the pile change and which has an auxiliary pile holder. An auxiliary pile support (21) is provided to act from both sides of the main pile. Each auxiliary pile support has a positioning device for the adjustment of an initial position differing from the maximum initial position in relation to the altogether necessary insertion movement. The auxiliary pile support is provided with a position controlled drive. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the carrying out of a pile change.
