PURPOSE: A liquid dispersion composition containing a particulate polyethylene wax for an oily paint and its preparation method are provided, to improve dispersion and storage stability, thereby enhancing slipping property, abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of an industrial oily paint. CONSTITUTION: The liquid dispersion composition comprises 1-30 wt% of a particulate polyethylene wax; 1-20 wt% of a solution of the copolymer having an organic functional group; 50-97 wt% of a solvent; and optionally 1-10 wt% of silica. Preferably the composition has an average particle size of 0.5-6 micrometers. Preferably the particulate polyethylene wax has a maximum particle size of 1-30 micrometers; the copolymer having an organic functional group is acryl copolymer, acryl modified urethane, a polyester modified urethane, or their mixtures; and the solvent is butyl cellosolve, toluene, xylene or their mixtures. |
