PURPOSE: An overheat preventing device of an electrolyzer is provided to improve the safety, and to prevent wrong operation and fire from contact failure between power of the electrolyzer and a terminal by estimating the degree of electrolysis with detecting fluctuation of voltage. CONSTITUTION: An overheat preventing device of an electrolyzer is composed of a fixed resistance(R) connected to an end of an electrode terminal with applying power to the other end of the electrode terminal; an A/D converter(205) detecting voltage in both ends of the fixed resistance and converting into the digital signal; and a control unit(201) preventing fire by detecting the contact failure of the electrode terminal and warning in case of the detected voltage from the A/D converter to be beyond the reference value. The failure of the part is detected, and the stability of the system is improved by estimating the degree of the electrolysis of the electrolyzer with detecting change of voltage. |
