METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING CONNECTION SETUP BY INPUT OF BRAND NAME

PURPOSE: A method and system for controlling connection setup by the input of a brand name is provided to offer a convenient connection environment by making the connection setup between a user and a service requester executed only through user input for a brand name reminded of the service requester. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling connection setup by the input of a brand name is comprised of an identification information database(210), an associated information database(220), an interface unit(230), a brand extraction unit(240), and a connection control unit(250). The identification information database(210) stores the connection information and identification code of a service requester. The associated information database(220) stores the connection information of the service requester and an input string corresponding to the identification code. The interface unit(230) receives an input string to set up the connection with the service requester or an identification number to define connection information from a user. The brand extraction unit(240) searches the associated information database(220) for the connection information associated with the received input string. The connection control unit(250) controls the connection setup between the user and the service requester using the searched connection information.
