PURPOSE: A method and system for controlling a wireless data service for prepaid and limited subscribers is provided to achieve real-time control for the use of a wireless data service for prepaid and limited subscribers by presenting a diameter standard-based call control method in an AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) system. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication service system(210) to execute a method for controlling a wireless data service for prepaid and limited subscribers comprises an AAA client(220), a positioning system(225), and a subscriber management system(230). The AAA client(220) is a unit to enable a prepaid and limited subscriber to use a wireless data service, such as an access point, a PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node), a GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node), an IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem), etc. The subscriber management system(230) comprises an AAA server function module(235), a subscriber DB(240), and a billing function module(245). The positioning system(225), in case that information for a new subscription request, a subscription cancellation request, a subscriber information modification request, etc., is received to the mobile communication service system(210), stores associated information in the subscriber DB(240) of the subscriber management system(230). |
