In a drum-type fan rotor with forwardly curved blades 6, Fig. 2, and having two annular discs 2, 3 to the inner surfaces of which the ends of the blades are secured, each blade outlet part deviates from the preceding arcuate part of the blade by the radius of curvature R<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 4, being either larger (as shown) or smaller than the radius of curvature R of the preceding arcuate part. The outlet angle of the blades may differ by 15 to 20 degrees from the tangential direction. Short intermediate blades may be provided between the blades 6. As shown in Fig. 7, the radius of curvature of the outlet part may be infinite.</p> |
