PRECAST BOX CULVERT PROVIDED WITH BOLTED UPPER SLAB AND PRESTRESSED LOWER SLAB AND THE CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PURPOSE: A precast box culvert provided with a bolted upper slab and a prestressed lower slab is provided to improve constructability and structural efficiency of a precast box culvert. CONSTITUTION: In the precast box culvert, as a box-shaped precast concrete structure having a hollow to generate upward couple moments against downward couple moments generated by the partial ground subsidence, an upper slab contains a connecting ring(131) to simplify the unification and conveyance of a precast box culvert and a lower slab contains a sheathe pipe hole(121) to apply prestress by interposing a steel wire(124).
