PURPOSE: A multi-path access apparatus of a base station system and its control method are provided to improve a transmission rate of a base station system by processing call signals connected to a path in a busy state through an idle path of a different packet card. CONSTITUTION: An RF board(2) processes call signals received from terminals(1A-1N) or a call signal transmitted to a different terminal to an RF signal. A plurality of packet cards(4A-4C) allocate a path to call signals of the terminals(1A-1N) inputted through the RF board(2) and transmit data to an upper board(3) such as an exchange through the allocated path. A control board(5) continuously searches a path allocation state of the plurality of packet cards(4A-4C) to obtain information of the packet cards(4A-4C) having a path in an idle state, and changes a path of a terminal to packet cards(4A-4C) having a path in an idle state. A memory(6) for storing information of the packet cards(4A-4C) having a path in an idle state is connected to one end of the control board(5). |
