<p>Ink set comprises: (1) a yellow ink having a specific hue angle; (2) a magenta ink having a specific hue angle; (3) a cyan ink with a specific hue angle; and (4) ink (A) and/or (B). Ink set comprises: (1) a yellow ink having a hue angle H o>defined in CIELAB color space on the recording medium of 80-110 o>; (2) a magenta ink having a hue angle of 330-360 o>; (3) a cyan ink hue angle of 230-260 o>, and (4) ink (A) and/or (B). (A) has a hue angle of 0-80 o>, and ink (B) has a hue angle of 260-330 o>, H o>=tan -1>(b *>/a *>)+180 when a *>is less than 0, or H o>=tan -1>(b *>/a *>)+360 (when a *>is larger than 0). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) ink set wherein the yellow ink comprises: (a) an absorption area at 400-500nm of 30-350 abs.nm; (b) a magenta ink having an absorption area at 500-600 nm of 20 - 200 abs.nm; (c) a cyan ink having an absorption area at 600-700 nm of 50 -400 abs.nm, ink (A) having the same absorption area as that of the magenta ink at the same spectrum, and ink (B) having the absorption area at 500-600 nm the same as that of the cyan ink at 600-700nm, (2) ink set wherein ink (A) has an absorption area at 400-500 nm 0.5-2.0 folds of the area at 500-600nm and ink (B) has an absorption area at 500-600 0.5-5 folds of the area at 600-700nm; (3) an ink recording method by forming mixed color of the inks; and (4) an apparatus for carrying out the method.</p> |
