TELETEXT RECEIVER AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING TELETEXT ON SCREEN

PURPOSE: A teletext receiver and a method of displaying a teletext on a screen are provided to simultaneously display a television broadcasting signal and teletext information. CONSTITUTION: A teletext receiver displays a broadcasting signal and teletext information received from a main tuner(122) and a sub-tuner(124) on a display(170). The teletext receiver includes an input unit(110) and a controller(200). The input unit has a picture/text display mode key and a channel change mode key. The controller divides a screen of the display to display information corresponding to channel tuned by the main tuner and sub-tuner on the divided screens when a picture/text display mode key signal is received. When the controller receives a channel change mode key signal, the controller controls a screen selected from the divided screens.
