PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal for modulating a voice by using pitch information of the other party during a call communication is provided to allow a user to modulate a voice for fun by extracting pitch information of a caller from a vocoder, deforming it according to pitch information of the other party, and inputting it to the vocoder. CONSTITUTION: A vocoder(140) compresses a non-compressed digital voice signal and decompresses a compressed digital voice signal. An analog voice processor(150) converts the digital voice signal received from the vocoder into an analog voice signal, amplifies the analog voice signal, and outputs it to a speaker. The analog voice processor(150) also amplifies a voice signal received from a microphone and converts it into a digital signal. A pitch deforming unit(145) receives pitch information from the vocoder(140), deforms it according to pitch information of the other party in call communications, and re-sends it to the vocoder(140), thereby deforming the pitch information. A display unit(160) displays various information for a user. An input unit(170) is used when the user selects a desired function or inputs information. A memory(180) stores a program required for operating a mobile communication terminal and data. A controller(110) controls a general operation of the mobile communication terminal.
