PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal for generating power by itself is provided to extend a battery usage time by driving a backlight with power generated by piezoelectric film when a key pad is pressed. CONSTITUTION: A key pad(21) inputs a user's command. A piezoelectric film(22) generates a certain voltage by being pressed by a key of the key pad(21). A backlight(23) is driven by a voltage generated by the piezoelectric film(22). A key press sensor(26) is attached on a support plate(25) and senses pressing of the key. The piezoelectric film(22) is formed on the support plate(25). The key press sensor(26) is electrically connected to a controller for controlling operations of a mobile communication terminal so that the controller can sense pressing of the key. The piezoelectric film(22) and the backlight(23) are connected by an electric wire(24). In order to minimize leakage of a voltage applied through the electric wire(24), the piezoelectric film(22) is disposed at a lower side of a key closest to the backlight(23). A voltage generated by the piezoelectric film(22) is applied to drive the backlight(23) through the electric wire(24).
