APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING UNIFORMITY OF TIRE

PURPOSE: A uniformity inspecting apparatus for a tire is provided to improve reliability of the tire by minimizing a measurement error caused by variation of air pressure in the tire. CONSTITUTION: A uniformity inspecting apparatus for a tire includes a servo valve section(4) having a pressure adjusting valve(2) and a proportional valve(3), which are connected to an air source. The servo valve section(4) is connected to a solenoid valve(5) so as to provide or discharge air into/from a tire(8) installed on a measurement drum(7) having a measurement sensor(6). An ON/OFF valve(9) is connected between the solenoid valve(5) and the tire(8) in series so as to open or close an air passage formed between the tire(8) and the servo valve section(4). The ON/OFF valve(9) is installed adjacent to the tire(8) and shields air when a uniformity measuring process is carried out for the tire(8).
