摘要 <p>The method involves using a stress sensor (1) that senses and gathers the coefficient of friction of the road. The sensor relays the maximum coefficient of friction detected to the calculating device (2) for the calculation of the needed brake torque and control timing detector (3). The control timing detector also receives the output from the calculating device for processing with the coefficient of friction, before relaying it to the judgement device (3). The judgement device determines the reliability and accuracy of the calculated brake torque. In cases when errors are not found, the control switch supplies the brake torque needed to the anti-lock brake system.</p>
