PURPOSE: A text communication service system and its control method are provided to allow a user, i.e., the deaf and dumb, who is restricted for a normal voice communication, to make a real time call communication through text. CONSTITUTION: Mobile terminals A and B(200,202), wired phones A and B(300,302) and a personal computer(400) communicate with each other by means of a communication system. The mobile terminals A and B(200,202) and the wired phones A and B(300,302) have displaying and inputting function for a text communication and have a function key for selecting a text communication and a voice communication. The personal computer(400) includes a modem for the text communication and voice communication through the Internet and an Internet access function. Base stations A and B(122,124) form a speech path for wireless communication of the mobile terminals. A switch(120) sets a connection between base stations. A packet network switching equipment(110) exchanges packets such as a short message or the text communication. A wired network exchange(140) relays a wired communication. A wireless communication network exchange(112) relays wireless communication. A supplementary equipment(130) includes a matching program for relaying the text communication and the voice communication through the Internet. |
