METHOD FOR JUDGING BEAM ALIGNMENT ON MULTI-BEAM OPTICAL PICKUP

PURPOSE: A method for judging beam alignment on a multi-beam optical pickup is provided to improve a judgment speed and productivity by judging a tracking error on the multi-beam optical pickup through a calculating of an electric signal. CONSTITUTION: The first digital information detected through a main beam, and the second and the third digital information detected through the second and the third sub beam are extracted from each DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(311) at the same time. The data information of each frame is modulated from one of the second and the third digital information, and the first digital information. The data information of each frame is converted into a frequency matched with a linear velocity of an optical disc(303). Judging sameness of the frequency by comparing the converted information of each frequency, a result signal is generated depending on a judgment result.
