The differential has a first balance weight (2), which is connected to the crank shaft (1) of a combustion engine. A second balance weight (8) is connected by a coupling (15) to the input shaft of a gear. The two balance weights are joined by a spring-damping appliance (6,7), such that a relative rotation is achieved. A third balance weight (5) is driven by the first balance weight by a planetary gear (3,13,25). A coupling (30) is between the planetary gear and the first balance weight to connect the first balance weight to the crank shaft. The radially outer periphery of the third balance weight forms a rotor (31) of an electrical machine. The first balance weight has a hollow wheel (25) with inner cogging (9) engaging with the outer cogging of the planetary wheels (3) fixed to the housing.
