PURPOSE: A structure of a seat track for a vehicle is provided to increase vertical movements by forming a slot hole to a slide lever, to fix a lever spring to firmly place the slide lever in the slot hole and reduce rattle noise at the spot, and to improve safety by preventing the strain of a rear floor mounting bracket by changing the shape of a tension spring into a heavy load structure to improve initial locking performance. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a seat track(10) for a vehicle is composed of a lower rail(11) fixed and combined to a vehicle body; an upper rail(12) placed on the lower rail to move back and forth with a seat cushion; and a locking assembly(13) for fixing upper and lower rails. The locking assembly comprises a slide lever(14) integrally hinge-fixed to the side of both upper rails; a locking plate(16) integrally connected with the slide lever and combined with a locker(17) formed at the lower rail by operations of the slide lever; and a tension spring(18) of which one end is inserted into a hole at the front end of the locking plate connected to the front end of the slide lever by a pin(13a) and the other end is fixed to the side of the upper rail to apply elastic force to the locking plate to return the slide lever to the original position. The slide lever includes a slot shaped hole structure formed to a hinge shaft(15) and a lever spring(19) fixed to a pin(15b) out of the hinge shaft to elastically fix the slide lever.
