PURPOSE: An intelligent call forwarding method in a multi-phone number service is provided to automatically, intelligently forward an incoming call to a specific phone number to a VMS(Voice Mail Service) or to a different phone number at a specific time zone according to user's request. CONSTITUTION: When an incoming call request is made for a subscriber from a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), a GMSC(Gateway Mobile Service Switching Center)(20) transmits an SRI(Send Route Information) message to an HLR(Home Location Register)(30) to request routing information on the subscriber. The HLR(30) adds a CSI(CAMEL Subscription Information) stored in the GMSC(20) of the subscriber in an SRI response message to transmit it, and the GMSC(20) routes a call to a corresponding SSP(Service Switching Point)(41) of a switching center(40). The SSP(41) transfers an IDP(Initial Detection Point) to an SCP(Service Control Point)(50). The SCP(50) compares a MSISDN(Mobile Station International IDSN) stored in a corresponding service logic and MSISDN information having a call forward date and time information to determine whether to forward the call. If call forward conditions are met, the SCP(50) sends a CON(Connect CAP Operation) to the SSP(41), and the SSP(41) transmits routing information to the GMSC(20). Then, the GMSC(20) connects the call to the corresponding destination.
