This invention provides a packaging bag (1) for use in a microwave oven, which can allow the escape of vapor generated during microwave heating, the bag comprising a bag body (1) comprising an upper side sheet portion and an underside sheet portion and an upper fin seal portion (2) formed on the upper side sheet portion, wherein said upper fin seal portion (2) is formed of heat-sealed laminated films comprising an inner layer film (32) and an outer layer film (31), and wherein said upper fin seal portion (2) comprises a non-sealed portion (22) connecting with a container portion (14) of the bag body (1), a projecting portion (5) projecting from an inside end of a heat-sealed portion (21), and a non-joined or weakly joined portion (4) having a peel strength of 0.1 to 20g/15mm width formed between the inner layer film (32) and the outer layer film (31) at least surrounding the projecting portion (5) and connected with an outside end of the upper fin seal portion (2). <IMAGE>
