PURPOSE: A sound amplifying structure for a Korean harp is provided to maximize acoustic sound generated from the Korean harp by installing an auxiliary sound generating plate at an inner portion of the front plate of the Korean harp. CONSTITUTION: A sound amplifying structure for a Korean harp includes an auxiliary sound generating plate(10) installed at an inner portion of a front plate of the Korean harp. The auxiliary sound generating plate(10) has a planar plate shape and reflects sound transmitted thereto from a resonance box(6). Sound reflected from the auxiliary sound generating plate(10) is outputted to an exterior through the resonance box(6) and a sound vibrating hole(15). The size of the sound vibrating hole(15) formed at a rear plate(2) of the Korean harp is about 50 to 70% of the Korean harp.
