PURPOSE: A key switch pad for a mobile communication terminal is provided to form many LED holes on insulator sheets in order to transmit light of LEDs installed on a PCB, and to form a white sheet where thin plastic films are made with elastic forces, then to uniformly transmit the LED light, thereby easily identifying characters or symbols. CONSTITUTION: Many keys(59) are arrayed on a keypad(58). A metal dome sheet is located between the keypad(58) and a PCB(52) arranged to locate keypad switch contacts(56,57) in lower positions. The keypad(58) is commonly made of a plastic material with an elastic force. LEDs for illuminating the keypad(58) are disposed on the PCB(52). Wires are formed on the PCB(52) to connect the LEDs with the keypad switch contacts(56,57). The metal dome sheet has many metal domes(21) and insulator sheets(25) for attaching the metal domes(21) to the PCB(52). When the keys(59) are transformed by a pressing force, the first contact(56) and the second contact(57) are contacted together.
