A system for mounting bearing and a router bit on the end of a drive shaft. The drive shaft includes and expandable end portion onto which the bearing membe r is mounted by an attachment element that is inserted substantially with the expandable end portion to cause sufficient expansion thereof to mount and retain the bearin g member in place on the drive shaft.
