PURPOSE: An rpm displaying method and an rpm displaying device of an automatic embroidering machine are characterized by displaying rpm on a monitor for temporarily stopping. CONSTITUTION: An rpm displaying method of an automatic embroidering machine comprises the steps of: inputting value of maximum rotation velocity of a main shaft; putting and storing set value of rotation velocity in accordance with an embroidering design; inputting the embroidering design and data, and running an embroidering work; and then displaying the set value of rpm on a monitor when a user presses a hot key for temporarily stopping. An rpm displaying device comprises: a function set part(310) setting functions; the hot key(320) displaying the set value of rpm; a set value adjusting key(330) adjusting the set value; a memory(350) storing a program controlling motions of the embroidering machine and the set value; the monitor(370) displaying the set value; and a control part(400) controlling each motion and display of the set value.
