DEVICE FOR SENSING OPENING/SHUTTING OF FOLDER ON FOLDER TYPE PORTABLE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A device for sensing an opening/shutting of a folder on a folder type portable terminal is provided to sense whether a folder is open/shut in order to turn on/off LCD power when the folder is open at more than certain angle, thereby finely controlling an open angle of the folder for applying power to an LCD of the folder. CONSTITUTION: A body(10) comprises as follows. A PCB transceives an electronic signal, and performs other wireless communication. A keypad inputs information including characters and numbers. A battery(11) is detachably attached to a case rear side in order to supply power. A folder(20) consists of an LCD and a speaker. The LCD receives an electrical signal from the PCB, and displays an operated state of a portable terminal. The speaker converts a voice signal into an audio sound wave. A hinge unit(30) comprises as follows. Folder fixing projections(31) are projected on both side ends of the body(10). A body fixing projection(32) is extensively coupled with a lower side of the folder(20) in order to fix both ends of the folder fixing projections(31). A hinge is inserted into the body fixing projection(32).
