Alum mixed at Feher-Ko-Hill or at Hagymas-Valley is mixed with iron containing csevice (sic). Solids concentration levels are adjusted by (tap) water. Mixtures are allowed to stand for few hours. Resulting mixtures are heated with occasional agitation followed by boiling for 5 minutes, cooling, remixing and coarse filtration. Remaining filter cakes are used as mud-packs. Material that passed the filter is a concentrated variant of the starting mixture Dissolution may also be carried out in the cold without application of heat. |
