The invention relates to bitumen-free, thermoplastic damping materials with an acoustic damping action and an extensible body for damping and soundproofing vibrating surfaces, used in particular in vehicle construction. Said materials are designed to be attached to the surfaces concerned by a positive or non-positive fit, or by fusion and consist of a plastic blend of at least two different thermoplastic plastics with different glass transition temperatures (Tg), melting temperatures (Tm) and/or softening temperatures (Te), which can be blended together, extruded, calendered, deep-drawn and/or injection moulded. |
