The aim of the invention is to reduce the cost of the fuel-delivering device of a fuel cell system reformer. Said aim is achieved by providing the fuel-delivering device with at least one chamber (20, 22), into which extends a fuel line (24) having a pre-pressure section (26) and from which leads a line (28A) having a final pressure section (28). A metering device (10) which comprises a movable piston (18) and by means of which the fuel is directly increased to the final pressure required by the reaction chamber is disposed between the pre-pressure section (26) and the final pressure section (28). The outlet end of the metering device (10) encompasses a check valve (32) that is provided with a predetermined minimum opening pressure which is greater than the maximum pressure occurring in the fuel line (24). |
