PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device to generate a floating force through combination of a first magnetic repulsion force generated between a second kind superconductor and a first permanent magnet, and a second magnetic repulsion force generated between the first permanent magnet and a second permanent magnet. SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing device comprises (A) a plurality of second kind superconductors 1 arranged in a peripheral state in a coolant container 4 below a disc 5 mounted orthogoally to a rotary shaft 6; (B) a first permanent magnet 3 arranged in a peripheral state in the disc 5; and (C) an annular second permanent magnet 2 mounted at the disc 5 separately from the second kind superconductor 1 with the first permanent magnet 3 positioned opposite to the same magnetic pole. |
