PURPOSE: A heater assembly is provided to toast both sides of a bread in a uniform manner by maintaining the gap formed between the bread and the plate heater accurate and constant. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven comprises a cooking chamber; an electrical component chamber mounted with electrical components for supplying heat to the cooking chamber; and a toaster(30) installed in the electrical component chamber in such a manner that the toaster is protruded from the front surface of the electrical component chamber. A heater assembly(80) includes a plurality of plate heaters(82) arranged upright in the toaster, with a predetermined gap; and supporters(85) which are hung at the surfaces of the plate heaters, respectively, so as to maintain the gap formed between the bread inserted into the toaster and the surface of the plate heater. Each of the supporters is formed by bending a single wire.
