PURPOSE: A torque sensor of a steering system is provided to compensate axial and radial vibration gap between bobbins installed in a gearbox housing by improving the support structure of the bobbins. CONSTITUTION: A torque sensor of a steering system includes an input shaft(20) and an output shaft(21) rotatably inserted in a gearbox housing(10) and interconnected; detecting rings(30) each installed to the outside of the input shaft and the output shaft, and between the input shaft and the output shaft; a pair of bobbins(40) installed on the axial sides of the outside of the detecting rings; and a sill(11) and a snap ring(13) formed to the gearbox housing. A spacer(50) is installed between the bobbins. The torque sensor of the steering system comprises a cylinder hole(15) formed to the gearbox housing, to be opened toward the axial outside of the spacer; a support part(60) disposed to the radial outside of the spacer through the cylinder hole; a pressing part(70) forming a slant protrusion(71) to outstretch the support part to the axial sides; and a fixing bolt(90) installed to the radial outside of the pressing part, to close the cylinder hole. The middle part of the support part is inserted between the bobbins and the sides of the support part come in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the bobbins. A slant groove(61), gradually expanding, is formed to the radial outside of the support part.
