FIELD: data compression and coding information about change in shape of three-dimensional object. SUBSTANCE: information about vertices forming shape of 3D object is described by using key-frame method for executing change in 3D object; in the process coding procedure includes stages during which (a) keys pointing to position of key frames on time axis, key values indicating characteristic information about key frames, and connective information are separated by analyzing information of 3D object node; (b) information about vertex connectivity is generated from connective information; (c) differential values for each of keys wherefrom time-bound data redundancy is to be deleted and key values wherefrom spacetime-bound data redundancy should be deleted are generated basing on information about vertex connectivity; (d) differential values are quantized; and (e) redundancy among bits is eliminated and compressed bit stream is generated using statistical coding by receiving quantized keys and key values. EFFECT: enhanced data transfer speed and reliability; reduced error probability during mentioned data transfer. 44 cl, 22 dwg |
