FIELD: processes and equipment for neutralizing solid domestic waste materials. SUBSTANCE: method for aeration of dumps and polygons for concealing solid domestic waste materials by providing air circulation in dump body is realized due to using system of successively connected gas-permeable inflow, transporting and exhaust tubes arranged in dump body and heated by means of heat separated in dump body. Air is discharged to atmosphere from exhaust tubes at level higher than that of air taking to inflow tubes. Aeration system includes tubes for supplying air to dump body; said tube system includes successively connected inclined inflow tubes, horizontal transportation perforated tubes and vertical exhaust tubes. Outlet opening of exhaust tubes is arranged at level higher than taking opening of inflow tubes. Invention provides methane yield increased by 8 - 10 times in comparison with non-aerated dumps. EFFECT: lowered fire hazard of dumps and polygons. 5 cl, 4 dwg
