APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING POSITION OF PRINT HEAD OF INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting a position of a print head of an ink jet printer is provided to prevent a stitching phenomenon caused by misalignment of the print head by adjusting alignment of the print head installed in a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A position adjusting apparatus(200) for a mono print head(241) includes a stitching adjusting section(201) and an elastic pressing section(249). The stitching adjusting section(201) is positioned at a sidewall(246a) of a carrier(246) positioned at the front of the mono print head(241). The elastic pressing section(249) is installed at an intermediate wall(246b) of the carrier(246) in order to elastically press the mono print head(241) towards the stitching adjusting section(201). The stitching adjusting section(201) has a support knob(210) movably coupled to the sidewall(246a) of the carrier(246) and an adjusting knob(220) installed in the sidewall(246a) of the carrier(246).
