FIELD: veterinary science, medicine. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with manufacturing and application of biopreparations indicated for specific prophylaxis of radiation-caused body lesions. The method deals with single subcutaneous injection of bacterial antigenic complex containing protective antigen, anatoxin and radiotoxin at the dosages of 0.09-0.10 mg/kg body weight 5-90 d before irradiation. Preparation for specific prophylaxis of radiation-caused body lesions is obtained due to preliminarily prepared protective antigen (PA), anatoxin (AT) and radiotoxin (RT), then one should compose bacterial antigenic complex consisting of protective antigen, anatoxin and radiotoxin at weight ratio being 90 : 5 : 5, correspondingly, the content of protein in this complex should correspond to 1.75-1.92 mg/ml. The present innovation enables to decrease reactogenicity of preparation, increase its antiradiation efficiency for specific prophylaxis of radiation-caused body lesions, increase terms of radioprotective action (prolongation), decrease immunizing dosage of preparation and increase operating efficiency.
