FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves increasing diameter of caudal stump of lesser diameter. Intubation tube with cuff wrapped with No 4 thread is introduced into caudal stump lumen. Thread ends are brought on external bronchus surface. The cuff is set 0.5 cm far from bronchus exit. The cuff is pumped in to achieve required bronchus dilation. Thread ends are tied above the third cartilaginous half-ring when counting from resection line. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 dwg
