摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent an oncoming vehicle from being dazzled at the time of setting an optical axis position in an adaptive front-lighting system(AFS) for following up and changing an irradiation direction of the lamp light corresponding to a traveling state of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The device is equipped with a right/left deflection means deflecting the irradiation optical axis of a projector lamp 30 in the right/left direction according to a steering angle of the vehicle, and a vertical deflection means deflecting the irradiation optical axis of the projector lamp 30 in the vertical direction. The device is also equipped with a deflection control means performing the setting operation of the optical axis with the right/left deflection means in a state where the irradiation optical axis is turned downward rather than horizontal direction with the vertical deflection means. Since the optical axis is turned downward rather than the horizontal direction with the vertical deflection means until the optical axis of the projector lamp 30 is set to the reference angle position with the right/left deflection means, it can prevent the optical axis from being deflected to the oncoming car side when the optical axis position is turned to the horizontal direction or upward, and prevent the oncoming car from being dazzled during the setting operation of the optical axis position.
